The Cloudburst Group has been selected by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to manage and administer its College of Experts technical assistance contract.
The Cloudburst Group staff and a team of expert consultants across the country will provide assistance to HUD grantees that receive funds from an array of Community Planning and Development (CPD) programs, including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships program and McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance grantees. Through the College of Experts, Cloudburst will work with state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, and other community partners to address complex programmatic or management problems at the local program level in an array of subject areas including: project management, supportive housing, land-use planning and urban design, organizational development, grant administration and reporting, financial management, economic developing, capacity building, energy efficiency and a variety of other subject areas. This award will leverage Cloudburst’s extensive expertise in providing responsive, timely, cost-effective, outcomes-driven technical assistance to develop short-term solutions to move stalled, slow, or promising new community development projects forward quickly while building local capacity to achieve permanent solutions.
