IT Specialist

Gus Naghdi is a IT Specialist in The Cloudburst Group’s Housing and Community Development practice area. Mr. Naghdi works on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) OneCPD TA project. He interacts with Grantees, HUD FO Reps, and HUD HQ staff on a daily basis, helping them with their everyday issues and challenges working with electronic Special Needs Assistance Program System (eSNAPS), which is a Grants Management system used by HUD since 2008, which has processed and awarded more than $1.8 billion to more than 8000 applications, submitted by more than 4000 applicants every year.

Mr. Naghdi has more than 32 years’ experience in software engineering, including expertise in all phases of software development life cycle using structured and object oriented methodologies. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), Mr. Naghdi has worked on HUD’s eSNAPS system from its inception, and has previously developed and managed numerous HIMS systems for HUD’s Community Planning Division (CPD) branch.
