Analyst

Branden Ananis is an Analyst in The Cloudburst Group’s Housing and Community Development practice area.  Mr. Ananis has more than a decade of experience providing direct services for various State and Federally funded housing and homelessness service programs.

Before joining Cloudburst, Mr. Ananis was employed as an Occupancy Specialist and Certified Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Inspector for Maine’s largest Local Administrating Agent (LAA), working with the state-funded Bridging Rental Assistance Program (BRAP) and Continuum of Care-funded Rental Assistance programs and also previously worked in this role for Maine’s largest AIDS Services Organization (ASO), doing HOPWA grant management, occupancy, HQS, and direct services.  Mr. Ananis also has a background in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) property management and managed one of the country’s few remaining transitional dormitory programs serving men coming out of homelessness for a nationally recognized non-profit organization.

Branden has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Maine, and has focused his practice in housing and homelessness.
