LaJuana Ormsby
Dr. Ormsby current responsibilites are currently focused on conducting program evaluation design and implementation services for the HCD department. She has 26 years of experience supporting social service programs in nonprofit, nongovernmental, and DoD sectors. Dr. Ormsby’s professional expertise lays primarily within social service program management, program evaluation, graduate social work student teaching, and executing research methods with human subjects and evaluation studies. She has worked with the following social issue areas: public housing, mental health, interpersonal violence prevention, substance use prevention, disaster relief, and suicidology. Dr. Ormbsy received a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work degree during 2010 from The University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Master of Science in Social Work degree during 2002 from The University of Tennessee at Memphis.
